Welcome to my art blog.
This is where you'll find some of the things I'm trying to accomplish... a little of this and that. Paintings, photography, collage and sewing...every artful endeavor helps me keep my sanity in this mixed up world.

Latest work
Sometimes it feels like I'm a leaf floating on a current of river water...bumpy and undirected. This 30" x 30" acrylic on canvas is on its way to an auction early 2018.

Chilly spring
It's turning out to be a chilly spring with a lot of rain and wind....April showers and all that. Anxious for the May flowers. This is a new negative-shape acrylic on canvas.

Looking forward to spring

Pacific Northwest Zinnias
I'm not sure if the calendar says we've turned the corner and are officially into autumn, but things are looking a little crispy. Zinnias are some of my favorite flowers. This painting was one of the large acrylics I did for the studio tour. Such a happy painting.

The Greening
It's happening once again, the greening of the Ham. April showers have come early following our unseasonably warm weather of February. Hence, every tree is turning green. These acrylic paintings on Claybord are inspired by the spring greening.
